Amaryllis For Christmas

During our years in St Louis, we purchased amaryllis bulbs from Bowood Farms Garden Center each November and watched these fantastic bundles of energy and beauty grow in glass bulb vases. Last year prior to our move to Montana, I purchased what I thought would be our last bulbs and made sure these did not freeze during the move, taking into the hotel room each night as we drove from MO to MT. What a surprise to receive in mid-November a box with three Bowood amaryllis bulbs packed in insulation from our dear St Louis friends, Sharon & Warren Hoffman! Thank you Sharon & Warren for the flower joy, likely through the end of January!
